Ok, so it's been a few days since I've made a post. I feel as though I should properly update my journal.
So, starting with thursday--got drunk with my roommates that night. Ended up playing some frisbee out in the courtyard. Grass stains all over my jeans from trying to dive to catch it. We also decorated the boys' door upstairs. Captured the handy work on film. Definitely one of those kodak moments.
Well... Friday was my birthday. Got everything packed up and out of my apartment by about 2:30, but with all the errands I had to run I didn't get out of the U-District until 4ish. I was supposed to go get my license renewed, but I didn't think that I had enough time to make it to ghetto ass bothell by 430 when the DMV closed. My dad, on the otherhand, thought that getting my renewal was of utmost importance. He said, no license, we're not taking you out. How nice of him on my birthday. So I busted my ass to Kirkland, got the damn thing renewed (the picture looks nearly identical to the one I got when I was sixteen--damn, do I really look that young?) That night ended up going to hang out with Matt, Erin, Lizzy, Marcy and Jen. Got a little drunk (yes, again) and went to a party. Afterwards I had a really long and interesting talk with Bethany and Marcus. It was nice that she would actually talk to me now :)
So, Saturday--I was in a bitchy mood all day. Didn't get much sleep, maybe three hours. Finally got checked out of Steven's Court and so I went home to take a nap. A big group of us planned to go out to dinner at 7 and I agreed to go only because they wanted me to be there for my birthday. I ended up being super bitch and ditched everyone to walk the mile back to my car. Not the best evening I've had, but I'm over it.
Today, Dan Quayle and I went to Maltby Cafe because Courtney was waitressing. That's the only meal I've had to today, but I still feel full. Ate so much food. We all hung out at my house for a while and chatted, ripped on the other roommates for a bit and we all went our separate ways.
I just got back from "Gone in 60 Seconds" with Steve and his guys. I thought there were some plot aspects that could have been eliminated, but I didn't really pay attention to that. I spent the entire movie drooling over the cars. If there's one thing that really gets me, it's a nice car--especially one with a powerful engine...mmmmm.... Pathetic? maybe.... Accurate? damn straight.
I think that I'm going to go to bed now. Maybe I'll have pleasant dreams of fast cars--one can only hope.......
